James Goudros - CEO, Founder, and Journalist

James is currently a graduate of RTA New Media at Toronto Metropolitan University in Toronto, Ontario, Canada, looking to expand into the audio/visual industry. James first became intrigued by sound when he watched his middle school's production of "Honk! The Musical" in the eighth grade. He became increasingly interested in how audio systems worked and began learning about microphones, audio mixers, and videography. In 2015, he joined his high school's drama crew, which taught him primarily how lighting is done for live shows, while also increasing his knowledge of live production. In 2016, he joined Talenttor Inc., an event company, where he began to expand his understanding of how professional live audio is produced. The experience has made him significantly more knowledgeable than he was prior to working for them. James also single-handedly ran the sound for the annual musicals of two middle schools in 2018, which further expanded his knowledge. James currently owns a fair bit of audio equipment, which includes four Countryman E6 headset mics and a Sennheiser transmitter and receiver to go with them, two Apex 575 headset mics with Line 6 transmitters and receivers to go with them, a Soundcraft analogue mixer, a Samson wired mic, a bunch of microphone and speaker cables, and a Roland amplifier. He also has a RODE shotgun mic for when he films with his Sony camcorder, as well as a Snowball mic for recording audio with his computer. James intends to expand his collection over time, learn more about sound, and experience it whenever possible with great optimism.
